Hi List,
Hopefully, this message will not be considered off-topic.
However, if so, please understand that the thoughts behind it are
not.
Here are comparisons between products: one we read, another one
we've experienced ours.
1. PacMate: According to the PacMate list, when we were on it,
we read messages about the PacMate losing files if the battery
dies. According to what was said, you have about 72 hours to
retrieve data before you lose it.
2. BrailleSense: We now have one. Unfortunately, we found you
lose your data when the battery goes dead, too.
3. BrailleNote: We've never run the battery totally dead, but
are sure files wouldn't be lost. The BrailleNote is proving to
be our vote for the most stable, dependable notetaker. Not only
a notetaker, but we use it as our laptop. It's the best PDA
ever!!
Living in the Present One day at a time, This is enough. Do
not look back and grieve over the past. For it is gone. And do
not be troubled about the future. For it has not yet come. Live
in the present, and make it so beautiful. That it will be worth
remembering.
