Hi Nick,
There is quite unnoticeable difference in terms of thickness of the CF card. The size is same except that Type I cards are 3.3 mm (millimeter) thick and Type II cards are 5 mm thick.
Cheers,
Joseph

Help!/also Compact Flash

Do cf cards really have different sizes (I
mean physically)?

Thanks for your reply. I had explored using
compact flash
initially, but was not been able to find a CF
disk that would fit
in the Classic BN. I had bought a SanDisk
1.0 GB CompactFlash
and a CompactFlash to USB Converter Drive but
returned them
unopened when I realized that the card was
too small for the
CompactFlash drive/slot in the back of the
the BN. Believe it or
not, but I am very computer-literate, but
this problem has really
got me frustrated.

Hi Laurel

An easier approach is to save your file on
to a compact flash
disk
then insert it into a memory card reader on
the computer.
This of
course can be done both ways, to and from
the computer.
memory card
readers have a USB interface with the
computer, and cost
very
little. Both the compact flash disks and
memory card
readers can be
purchased from a variety of places.

I need help getting ActiveSync to work with

now we have no way of getting files into it
since the Disk

with the

Classic
doesn't have
USB ports. Every time I have tried to use
ActiveSync (both
the
older version

newest version), it
never
detects
the BN even though the serial COM 1 is
available.
