Hi:
Quite odd behavior. I most frequently get Word documents that
show up as blank when there are columns or other common
formatting options. I wonder why you had trouble first; but,
I'm glad that you got them working after a reset.

Subject: [Braillenote] inconsistent KeyWord problems, empty
document,exception--disappear after reset
Hi,
I had three Word documents, all from the same source--(don't know
what version of MS Word).
Anyway, I used the File Directory to look at a list of files that
included these Word files.
When I got to the last one and opened it I found an empty
document.
So, I exited back to the list of files and tried to open the one
before it in the list.
This gave me an exception.
I then did I think an exit, but the BN stopped talking, and would
only do Braille very slowly.
So, I got back to the main menu, and turned it off then on.
(Oh! just before that I took out the memory stick which I had
in--the files were on the flash disk).
The BN was still very slow, so I did a normal reset.
After this I tried the first Word file in that list, no trouble.
I then tried the next two which had given problems.
These now also seemed to open with no problem, displaying their
contence.
Regards,
Steve.
