Hi folks,
Here's the laarest update and clarification:
* For Iyana: BrailleNote Chat means a chat where everyone can talk about BrailleNote. Just like Windows Vista Chat, where everyone can talk about Vista, but the participants does not have to be using Vista to participate. In this context, the chat is done using a computer. * For anyone who asked about Tek Talk: Pat Price told me that it is somewhat unwise to hold a BrailleNote Chat at Tek Talk Room. According to her reasoning (which I sort of agree), it is somewhat premature (at this time) to talk about features of BrailleNote and to ask and answer questions about BrailleNote. She said that question and answer session has been reserved for the presentation (after the actual presentation). * The primary reason why I proposed this idea was to have a chat-like forum on a holiday (like Presidents' Day). Since we don't have time for this kind of chat, I thought the Presidents' Day would be a good time for it. * I guess this all means that Skype Conference Call would be the option (for now). You can install Skype on a computer (not BrailleNote), create a username and password and call people. If you don't have a mike, you can use your PC keyboard for text chat. * I cannot possibly use GPS Chat room (it is a private room requiring pastswords and there is already an event scheduled for 17th). Well, I'm still open to feedback and suggestions as to what to do. And I apologize for the lateness of this post.
Cheers,
Joseph
