Dear Stacy,
Did you put the time field in your template?

Hi Andy and all,
I created a template and tried copying a record into a document,
and it
didn't put the time field in. Can anyone tell me why. I'm
running ks 7.01.

Hi Stacey.
I'm working on that. If I can figure out a suitable way, I'll
let you
know about it. Actually, can someone explain how to do this
template
thing, since I have no idea how to get that working in the first
place.

Andy,
I find this very useful.
How would you create a template to print the entries into a
document?

Hi.
Here's a weird way to use Key base: a journal!

Field 1: date?
Field type for date? Currently date
Then go into the field options (backspace plus o), and go down
to
the default value, type auto.

Then just go from there. Field two I have set for time. And
the
field type is time, and default value is auto.

Field 3 I have as subject, with a string field type, and no
default value.

Field 4 is journal entry, which is a document field type.

Then, I have mood, as a string.

Hope someone finds this useful (i do not, but hey, it's
searchable!)...

Regards.

Andy
