I doubt your SD card that you got with your Stream was 14 GB. They do make them in 1, 2, 4, 8 and 16 GB capacities though. The reason your big SD card won't work in your card reader is the card is an SDHC card and many card readers, especially older or cheaper ones, do not work with these cards.
