Hi:
Using your BrailleNote you can download files or documents, but
not programs or compressed files. Of course, their are
exceptions and some work-arounds for compressed files.
In general you can download any file with an extension that you
have used on your BrailleNote, such as doc, txt, mp3 but, never
exe or zip. The term extension refers to the three letters
following a file name, like a braille file may be a brf document
named filename.brf

Hello listers. I was off-line for a few days because my wireless
card quit. Now that I'm back, I have a question. I think
perhaps this was covered before, but I would like to ask for some
help. When I am on the internet sometimes it asks me if I want
to download something. How do I know what is okay to download to
the braillenote? When it asks me, is there a way to find out what
kind of file it is that may be downloaded before I do that? I do
not want to somehow crash my braillenote. Karen and Harpo
