I just checked this out. Yes, you're correct. You have to put
one person in the "Send To", before before you can put anyone in
your "Blind Copy." My only suggestion would be, if you don't want
anyone to see the others you send it to, send it to yourself
first.

Hi all,
I was wondering how to send people blind copy. I want to send an
email to a group of friends, but I don't want every one to see
who else I sent it too. My friend says I need to not put
anything in the "to" field because if I do, the others will see
that address. But the bn won't even show the bbc dield unless I
put something in the "to" field.
