Although I know zero about setting up audio presentations, I do
know that a lot of the files do tend to play pretty quietly, both
on my laptop and my BN. So, I don't think it is a problem with
the volume control of the media player. Sometimes, if I really
want to listen to something like that on the BN, I get the
earphones that came with the mPower and listen that way, as they
tend to increase the volume better than most if not all other
earphones that I have around here.

Subject: [Braillenote] problem with volume controll in media
player
Hi All, Andy, I'll write you offlist. As to my problem, tonight
I
finally got around to downloading the fourth Braillenote chat. I
downloaded one of the two parts. When I went to play the chats,
it was
kind of quiet so I went to turn up the volume on the media player
using enter with dots 4-6. However, I saw no noticeable change
in the
volume. I tried turning up the radio using the same commands,
and I
tested this with a memo that I recorded. I could notice a change
there. What could be going on? --
Have a w
