Hi List,
I've got to make a couple of observations here.
Yes, it would have been helpful if HumanWare had given better information about the old Tieman braille displays. That was a bad oversight. However, here is my observations on various notetakers. My Husband recently got a BrailleSense. This is not the BrailleSense plus Terri was talking about, but the regular BrailleSense. Guess what? The BrailleNote wins hands down. With the new upgrade GWM just came up with, they say you need a new wireless card card to use the faster capability for internet. We had a PacMate for a short time. It's made cheap. Most of the manual is on a Cdrom, so you're tied to the computer to get the manual. Even though every company has its issues, The BrailleNote is, by far, the best notetaker as far zthe Campbell household in Shelly MN is concerned. We're both looking forward to the next upgrade, and still hope for the two things we can really use: Html email, and a way to interpret "javascript". Living in the Present One day at a time, This is enough. Do not look back and grieve over the past. For it is gone. And do not be troubled about the future. For it has not yet come. Live in the present, and make it so beautiful. That it will be worth remembering.
