Hi Luis, Thanks for your input. Actually, the "access is denied" error doesn't appear to have anything to do with the login information provided in this case. For instance, simply attempting to read existing messages from any mail folder without even attempting to log on resulted in the aforementioned error. Unfortunately, deleting the directory folder didn't help either. I appreciate your efforts though!

The first one is try doing what I believe Kevin ask you to do first and see if it helps you. That is delete the directory file then do a restart holding down keys 4, 5, 6 on BT and J, K, L on the QT. If you are still having problems try checking the settings for you email account. Make sure you have the correct pop and smtp ports, check or uncheck the ssl selection depending on your isp company, and make sure that for your username your entire email is typed in. For some reason most of the ISPs even though they don't ask for it require the email address as your username. get back to me if you need more specific help and see if I can be of any services. Thanks to all who have responded regarding my recent problem with Keymail. Unfortunately, it appears I have a real predicament on my hands. I have tried removing the Keymail directory, Email folders, and Emailfolderdata, as well as the Keysoft.ksd file. After each attempt, I reset the bn, but I am still receiving the error "access is denied" when attempting to read Email from any of my listed folders. I have also tried resetting the bn with dots 1, 2 and 3, as well as resetting with dots 4, 5 and 6. Still no change. I am currently running Keysoft 7.5 build 27 on a bn classic, but I am beginning to wonder if there is a way to go back to 6.11. <grin> Jenny ___ Replies to this message will go directly to the sender.
