Along with CE 5, the Braille Sense Plus will have:
Built-in Bluetooth and wired and wireless Internet (built-in) Wireless
network : IEEE 802.11b/g
8GB built-in flash memory
Clear MP3 format recording and powerful media player
Battery : Lithium Ion (detachable and rechargeable)

It does only come in a 32 cell model and only with a braille keyboard; but
8GB of flash memory as compared to 128 MB, what is wrong with this picture?

Not to mention the Braille Plus from American Printing House running on the
Linux platform, built-in wireless and bluetooth, with the 30 GB hard drive
built-in and weighing only 7.5 ounces. No braille display yet, but that
will be coming as an attachment.

I think Humanware has a bit of catching up to do.
I hope they do catch up, because they are a fine company that has been
producing excellent equipment for quite a while now.

Richard

Hi, Joseph,
The name is Claude, and whatever the case I hope that humanWare gets the
lead out and upgrades to the new C 5. version in the next release.
If the competition can upgrade to that variant then HumanWare can also.

Hi Cluade,
Few corrections: From specs that I've seen, I'm 90% confident that Braille
Sense Plus uses CE 5. PAC Mate has CE 5.2 (Windows Mobile 6; don't be
confused between these two).
Someday, I'll post the differences between CE and Windows Mobile on my
PBWiki site (maybe tm)...
Cheers,
Joseph
