Dear BrailleNote users,

I wanted to share with everyone these niftey Zelco Outi earephones, which
are very different than anything that has ever been on the market. I
discovered them through Sendero Group and received a pair of them yesterday
and am very much enjoying it on many devices including theBrailleNote PK and
mPower.

Outi, the next generation earphones.

Outi earphones clip comfortably and securely outside the ears for the new
look and feel of sound. By transmitting vibrations through the skin and
cartilage, they create a dynamic new sensual, surround sound that doesn't
just let the listener watch a movie on the go, it lets them be a part of it;
that doesn't just let them listen to music, it lets them feel every beat of
it; and it does it without blocking out conversation and sounds of impending
danger.

And because they are not inserted into the ear, they avoid damaging the
listener's hearing as past generations of earphones have.

Outi earphones plug into any MP3, iPod, portable CD and DVD player, most
cell phones, gaming systems, radios or any other audio/visual device with a
3.5mm jack.

Currently only available in White.

Outi kit includes: Outi amplifier with 4-step switch (off/low/medium/high)to
control vibration output of portable device being used, a clip to attach
amplifier to clothing or bag/backpack, USB cable to charge Outi from your
laptop, AC adapter to charge Outi at home, and a storage pouch.

Please be sure to charge your Outi completely prior to use. It will take 90
minutes to charge Outi fully. When fully charged, Outi will provide 6-8
hours of continuous listening pleasure.

it is very true that the sound quality is excellent and that the sound is
felt throughout and the most powerful aspect is being that it is still
possible to hear enviornmental sound while listening to your BrailleNote in
a class room or meeting setting or GPS in the outdoor setting. I decided to
take it out on a true test by listneing to music aand writing down
information with speech and using the Zelco Outi as my niftey earpieces. And
to my surprise, I was still able to hear everything that was going on around
me and carry on a conversation while listening to music. I also have the
Sendero GPS on both the mPower and PK, I decided to take the earpieces out
on a test with traffic noise and I was able to hear both the GPS and
traffice noise without any problems.

The retail price of the Zelco Outi is $110, but Sendero Group,
<http://www.senderogroup.com/> http://www.senderogroup.com/ is selling it
for about $100. They are a bit expensive but in my opinion are well worth it
for what it does and they really are the next generation of earpieces. Until
now there has never been a way to listen to information while hearing
enviornmental sound at the same time. The sound is transmitted directly to
the inner ear.

Thanks,

Kevin
