Hi Kerri,
Proxy: then what this teacher needs to do is to find out the proxy server name and port number. Squeezer: Since Squeezer is used to shrink web content, I think it should work for the student.
Cheers,
Joseph

Subject: [Braillenote] squeezer

Hi list,
This is very strange. I have received an
email from someone I do
not even know or have never heard of, and he
claims to have a
student with an MPOWER and wants to know if
you can use a proxy
server with a firewall. I have no idea.
Here is his other
question as well.
I'm about to go check out the site from which
his email came.
Kerri

Kerri,

I saw your name on the web, associated with
the braille note and
squeezer. I work at a school with a blind
student who uses an
mPower. She is having problems with the
graphical content of
some websites. Do you think squeezer is a
good option for her.
The school has a firewall, is there a problem
using a proxy
server and a firewall? Thanks for your help,
Alan Weinstein
