I asked this question to Jonathan Mosen way back when he worked for Humanware. He, as all Humanware staff are, was not going to say yes in so many words; but, he did say that as Humanware is making the USA's digital players for the NLS that we could expect that none of the braille notetakers would be on top of this like the BrailleNotes. He suggested that besides being able to download files that the BrailleNotes would be able to have, perhaps, a plug-in player to read the NLS cartridges.

He said all of this in a public meeting.
