You're right about students getting a free account in BookShare. However
their school is the one that needs to get it for them. I'm a staff member
at a school and I'm just getting the free membership for the school and for
the students. Its quite easy. If there's teacher/staff from schools or
agencies servicing the blind or students, intrested to know more and don't
want to go to the website to learn about it. I'm more then happy to let
anybody know about it as I learn about it myself. Just reply privately and
lets chat.

I don't know how it works but supposedly all students can get a free
Bookshare account now. Also, I think they have a special offer for new
braille note purchasers. I joined a few months ago and just love it.

You must be a member to login into BookShare.
It well cost you $75 for the first year and $50 for every year
after that.
If you are a student ask your school if they can sponser you and
you can get
an account for free through your school.
But to login you need your email as your username and then
BookShare will
give you a password. Enter the password provided from BookShare
and click
sign in.
And you are in.
