Catherine, This is a mistake that is in the Pk user guide, it was actually intended for Braille/VoiceNote mPowers and Classic units. It isn't possible to recalibrate or condition the battery nor will the PK prompt you to do so. If you would like more detail about the workings of the PK battery as compared to the mPower or Classic units, email me off-list.
