I think that this may be an issue of when the original daylight saving time
change was to  take place as oppose to the modified daylight saving time as
determined by the government.  

I think that we all should be squared away on this topic and our times
should be correct.

I had something strange happen with the time.  I live in California.
Recently a week ago I needed to reset the date and time.  I told the Braille
Note it was daylight savings time.  
When I turned it on again later that day it set the time an hour ahead.  So
I reset it and all was fine.  Sunday I had an alarm go off around 5:00 pm.
and it was fine.  Tonight when I turned on the Bn, and checked the time it
was an hour ahead.  I don't know why it changed between Sunday and tonight.
Any  thoughts? I have an m-power running verssion 7.5 build 28.
