Bookshare books are not read aloud with human voices. Books from
RFBD are, but we are still waiting for authorization to read them
with the bn.
Have a great day,

Subject: [Braillenote] playing Daisy books on the BrailleNote
Hi all,
I have really enjoyed being on this list so far. I am still
learning and
experimenting with the BrailleNote mPower, the BT model. I have
a question
about daisy books on bookshare.org. I am a member of bookshare,
and I
downloaded a daisy book but when I go in to the book reader to
read it,
the text to speech keysoft voice reads it. Am I wrong in
assuming that the
Daisy books are narrated? I read the user guide and it said to
toggle
between the keysoft voice and the daisy narration, press enter
with V.
Yet when I do this, nothing happens, it just beeps at me. Does
that mean
that this daisy book has no narration? Thank you for any help you
can
provide. I'm just a little confused. Have a wonderful day!
Marissa
