An interesting week indeed. I also purchased an M-Power 18, and a PK
with Sendero GPS, but they are sitting here on my desk with a lonely
Trekker that does not work, and never did. Five years later I now have
a Voice Sense that works perfectly. I use the VS with Sendero GPS
constantly, and couldn't be happier. Yet I still am determined to
somehow get these Humanware products workingt once again as it has been
a huge investment in time and dollars. David

Subject: re: [Braillenote] BrailleNote m,Power for sale

Guess this must be the week for selling Humanware products. For,
I just now came back from the UPS store where I put my BNPK in
the mail, as I sold it to some friends of mine, so each of them
will now have a PK and Sendero GPS to use. I still do have my
mPower and Sendero GPS, though.

You might recall that I had tried to sell the MPower once before,
but the person didn't really want the GPS, so the sale didn't
take place. However, in this case with the PK, I'm happy to say
that the folks buying are primarily buying the unit for the
Sendero GPS. And, seeing as I will still have my MPower, at
least for the time being until or unless I decide to get the
Braille Sense Plus or something else, I have contacted Sendero
about payment and the like in getting the GPS license for the PK
only transferred.

I used to think I would never sell the PK, but sell the mPower
first because of its larger size. However, when I had to do
without a computer for a couple of weeks, I realized just how
much better for me it would be to keep the mPower, especially
with GW Micro coming out with that case that holds both the Voice
Sense and 20 cell Sync Braille.

For, as I believe I mentioned once before, the PK would often
lock up while I was browsing the web, and I would need to do a c
1 and c 4 reset to get it right again. Then, too, when writing
email, in most every message I would write with the PK, the unit
would lock up at least once, and I would have to move the
joystick and NAV keys around to get to where I could finish
composing the message. And, finally, I also like the streaming
audio, and of course the PK isn't able to do that.
