Hello all, To use a cell phone to access the Net, enable the phone's bluetooth. (You may require sighted assistance to do this, unless your phone has a screen-reader, or you have memorized how to do this already.) After that, have the BN search for bluetooth devices. Once it finds the phone, select "modem" from the list of services. When asked for an authentication code, either type one, or just hit enter (a code is not necessary for a connection). The phone should prompt for a code at about the same time the BN does. Enter the same code (or nothing at all) that you entered on the BN. Both devices should tell you that the pairing was successful. Now here comes the part that really isn't explained at all in the manual. Go into the connectivity menu again, if you're not already there. Create a new dialup or lan configuration. When prompted for the device to use, cycle through the available devices (space with s t sign on Braille units) until you hear the same name that you got when you chose the phone from the bluetooth list of devices. Hit enter to confirm the selection, and exit the list once you've named the configuration something meaningful. Confirm changes by answering yes. Now access the web browser on the BN. When asked for a configuration to use, select the one you just created. I hope this helps. I don't know much more than this on using bluetooth on a phone, as my phone's internet service is not activated. I do know that the process I've set forth in this message is the correct one up to this point, though. I know this may seem complicated to some, so I encourage you to call Humanware, or other list members if you have trouble. Oh, and one final note: If the bluetooth connection is by any means severed, be it a reset or whatever, you absolutely MUST reconnect the two devices BEFORE you select the phone's configuration in the web browser, or you will receive an error about a device being unavailable.
