Likely the Humanware person did not comment upon the question of built-in WIFI for the BrailleNote family because they do not generally comment on forthcoming product features until they are just about ready to ship. This is to help prevent competitors from trying to scoop them on features. This feature would require a hardware upgrade to the BrailleNote/VoiceNote family.
