The solution to my problem was surprisingly easy! I simply
unprotected and erased all the files in the CO DICTIONARY folder
and reinstalled the contents of the original flash card, and,
voila, everything was perfectly restored! Special thanks to
Sharon Clark and Roger Behm for exhibiting much patience and
generously sharing their knowledge and helpful suggestions with
me!
