But would that not still be in grade 2? Hey, I know: create a braille file, then, at the top of this empty file press backspase-a for grade 1. Now insert the file you want translated and see if it ends up in grade 1 or not. I don't know if it will work, but it is another option.

Have a great day,
Alex

Hello Frank:
From the Main Menu, press F T E. You will see "drive", press
Enter for (and your drive will be given. Select your drive. Then, you will see "document name?" Go to the folder and document you wish to translate. You will then see, "export to which device?" Sometimes, you will see "press Enter for file." If you don't see that, press F, and press Enter. You will then see, "export as which file type?" For a Qwerty, you would press Control with Space, and a BT, it would be Backspace X. Select your file type, and give it a file name.
 Good luck.

Subject: [Braillenote] braille translation question

Dear List,

I hope you can help me with this one, it will save me time.

I have a braille reader in my church chorus, however, they can
only read un-contracted (grade 1) braille.
Is there an easy way to translate grade 2 to grade 1 with the
MP-OWER?

I've been doing it by hand for now.

Thanks,
Frank.
