Even though they don't offer the transplant from a BrailleNote classic to a MPower BrailleNote, they do offer a trade in. You aren't going to get much out of it last time I heard was around $1,000 but that may be too low or high. My advise would be if you can of manage the pay, trade it in for a MPower BrailleNote and pay the difference. Other wise, if you don't need the braille display at least for now get a VoiceNote or a BrailleNote PK which has a display but both are cheaper then a BrailleNote (BT QT) ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jane Jordan (Gmail)" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

Subject: [Braillenote] Trade-in value of BrailleNote Classic

Subject says it all.

Anyone know what the trade-in value is for a Braillenote BT32 running KS7.01 build: 25 it's a classic.

I heard that it's $2,000 but was unable to reach customer support to confirm.

I just want to get a Braille display at this point, the display has died on my unit--again--after only haviung it back since February.

Iam annoyed, upset, irritated, etc. I depend on that machine for a lot of my reading needs. Tech support now says that the display is so old it;s just going to ikeep on breaking and not working.

any suggestions at all?

Jane
