Orhan,

Yes, for some reason with KeySoft 7.5, it is no longer possible to have
periods inserted in file names or else it will alter the extension of the
file. I would recommend using a ddash or an underscore instead of a period.

  Hi Orhan and List,
I've encountered this problem too, but it usually only happens when
you try to put a period (.) in the filename. Do you frequently put periods
or other special characters in your filenames? When you put a period in the

filename, keyword should ask you to "review the options?" Select yes. At
the first prompt in the menu, "create a braille or text document?" select
braille, and you should get a KeyWord Braille document.
  Cheers,
  Craig

I have not seen this, but my default is msw. Maybe you could try
setting your default to brf until the bug is worked out? At least
that way you will be able to write in grade 2.

    Have a great day,
    Alex
