You can sms from the internet on cell carrier sites and from
programs like skype or messenger programs. It is useful to be
able to send people text messages, especially if you cannot call
them for whatever reason or know that they will not answer their
phone but could look at a message. I would like to see this
feature integrated into the keychat, if there ever is one.
