Hi,

Yes, it has to be in good working order, and FS reserves the right to reject or change terms and conditions without explanation.

Joseph, thanks for that great comparison of the features of the MPower and the packmate. Very informative, very thorough. I agree with Nikki and others that those traded in BN's, although I can't for the life of me think that there will be very many of them...and, BTW, does the traded in BN have to be in working order? That of course might be financially attractive to someone who has a defunct BN: trade it in for a packmate, which, while not the note taker of one's dreams would at least be a lot cheaper than a new BN. But then again, doesn't Humanware give some trade in deals, too? Anyway, I digress...I also think those traded in units should be donated to schools, low income, or whatever, not just thrown away or used for spare parts or something. One thing I wish humanware would figure out is how to allow us to change the batteries in the BN ourselves without having to send the whole unit in and be without it for a couple of weeks. And a way to access information backed up on a cf card by some other means, like on the computer...thinking of my inaccessible address book, *sigh*
