Hello all,

Recently, whilst viewing Emails in Keymail, I received the rather disconcerting error "flash disk error: the system cannot find the sector requested". I erased my entire flash disk, then did a reset with dots 4-5-6 held down to restore the default flash disk file structure. Then I did a test: using Active Sync, I copied several large files to my flash disk and then back to my PC. The test proved successful.

I haven't gotten that same error again, though I've gotten just one other one from Keymail today, stating that "the system cannot find the file specified", or something of that nature.

I just have a few questions:

(1) Is my flash disk definitely damaged, or has anyone else received errors of this nature but then didn't have any future problems?

(2) I was streaming music over the network while at the same time checking my Email when both corruptions occurred. Should I not do this?

(3) Is there any way to check the integrity of the flash disk?

(4) When people returned their units for servicing, how long, approximately, were they without their units?

Thanks so much.

Grant
