One thing seems certain that the upgrade will not make voice chat clients
like skype available to the users otherwise they would have announced even
if they were thinking about it.
Another thing I am certain about is the capability to play NLS books on
MPower in the future.
I am hoping that improvements will be made in book reader, key word and
dictionary. The problem with other programs have been discussed here on the
list.
The problem I have with the dictionary, it might be a result of my
ignorance, that you can't enter a phrase to look at in the dictionary. Once
you hit space bar, BN doesn't let you enter anything else. Take for example
the case of phrase "in vitro". You can't look for its meaning in the
dictionary unless you navigate to it by using right arrow.
Hope it is rectified.

That is just what I suspected! That is why I suggested that Ken hold
off until convention before making any moves.

Subject: [Braillenote] ANNOUNCEMENT OF KEYSOFT 8 FEATURES
Good morning,
When I was talking to Roger Behm yesterday, he said that HW is planning
to announce the list of new features for KEYSOFT 8 by summer convention
time, although the actual upgrade may not be available till later this
year. Its cost will be two SMA accounts. HTH!
