Hey Brian,
I'm sure you remember the last time we did a 2 SMA upgrade. One
SMA covered the Windows CE 4.2 upgrade and the other SMA covered
the KeySoft upgrade. At least in the case of that double upgrade
they had to mail it out on CF cards along with a small sticker
that needed to be applied to the note taker indicating it was
legally licensed to run Windows CE 4.2. If KeySoft 8 is coming
out with a Windows CE upgrade, I wonder if they will still do the
mailed card thing because of the size of the double upgrade or
just have us download it and mail the sticker by itself for us to
apply. Guess we will just have to sit back and wait for whatever
comes. Speculating on what will be included and how it will be
released is kind of a waste of time.

Dear Rhonda and list:
The comment that two SMA counts would be required for the 8.0
upgrade was something a Humanware staff member had mentioned to a
member of this list when she met him at CSUN.
Should he have said what he did? Not sure, as I don't work for
Humanware.
The deal with upgrades is if you purchase an SMA prior to the
release date of an upgrade, you receive two SMA for the price of
one.
The usual way to receive software upgrades these days is by
downloading them from the Humanware web site. However they have
also been available at a slight surcharge, on SD card for folks
with no Internet capabilities.
Take care.
Brian
