Matt,

Yes, the reason it is taking so long is because there are so many files to
sort through. It is possible to sort files using name, date, type and size.
There isn't a Basic Find Feature within KeySoft but Alex Haul has found one
that takes a fair amount of work going through the command prompt.

Subject: [Braillenote] Slow when file list is very long

Hello,
I'm using a cf card (8gb) and have a folder with about 500 mp3 files on it.
Accessing this file list slows the Braillenote down, even scrolling though
the list is slow. Is this because there are so many files in one folder?
Also, is there any type of file search function on the BN like there is in
Windows? I have read everything I can think of but haven't found anything
like this in the manual.
Thanks
Matt Brown
