Which file type did you use? No pc can open keyword text or
braille, nor can they open brf or brl files (unless they have a
special program which most people do not have). Here is a quick
explanation of all supported formats for the bn:
kwb: keyword braille, the default format for bt models. It
takes braille input. The file extension is hidden when you
browse files.
kwt: similar to kwb but accepts text instead of braille.
doc: microsoft word file, text, supported by a pc.
txt: ascii text file, text input, pc support
brf: contracted braille file, braille input, not supported
unless the pc has Duxberry or a similar program
wp5: wordperfect file, text input, pc supported
mp3, wma, snd, wav, wmv, wax, wvx, asx, m3u, aif, aiff, aifc,
mid, mpa: all audio or video files supported by the bn's media
player and by a pc
Have a great day,
Alex

Subject: [Braillenote] attachments
If I want to send a attachment to someone that I have downloaded
off the web, what file type should I send it in? I have the
article saved in my general folder so I sent it with an email and
my friend could not read it. She is using jaws so I thought if I
sent it as a different file type she could get it and read it.
Sorry if this sounds weird but I really Know nothing about file
types. Please be my teacher.
May the LORD always be with you! Sissy
