You are not doing anything wrong. This happens sometimes to me
as well. Sometimes it is still loading, but more often it has
hung up somewhere and pressing space-e will show you the page you
just tried to leave, at the place from which you tried to leave
it. Just re-click the button or link and it should load fine.
If not, try a soft reset (reset with no keys held down). Next
try a reset while holding down keys 4-5-6; hold down the keys,
hit reset like normal, then release the keys when you hear the
startup music from the bn.
Currently the bn cannot handle any form of pdf file, sorry.
