Generally the vendor would be thinking of being generous when they send you 1GB card at the cost of 512 mb.
I hope you did not pay an exorbitant price for the card.
But yes, 512 or smaller cards are not produced now as much the cards with more storage. You might still find them at Walmart, Best Buy, Circuit City etc. You might like to visit their websites.

Subject: [Braillenote] Small S DCards for upgrades

Hi. I ordered a Card which was advertized as a 512Mb SD Card to upgrade my
mPower QT running KS7.5 build 28. After waiting over a week for its
arrival, I prepared the card and loaded the files for my upgrade. I didn't
check the card beforehand and really wish I had. I followed the upgrade
instructions and completely froze up my BrailleNote. I performed a service reset and all is running normally. I checked the card and sure enough it is
a 1 gig card. My question is, where in the world can I find a small SD
card? Especially when I can't trust the online retailers to send me what I want. Are there any small cards that are being manufactured anymore? I got
the mPower very recently and did not own one of these cards before
purchasing the mPower. Thank you very much.
