You cannot capture sound from YouTube on the bn as the movies are all played with Flash Player, which is a plug-in for web browsers that the bn does not include (I do not believe many mobile devices do). You can do this on a pc, but it will be quite a process. As to music, you can rip your CDs onto your computer and then copy or move the files onto your usb drive. You can also download mp3 files and do the same. The only files that will not play are .wma files protected by DRM (digital rights management), such as those from Ruckus.com or Audible.com.

Have a great day,
Alex

Subject: [Braillenote] Question

Hi there,
I don't know if this is a legitament question, but is anyone
familiar with YouTube? I just wasn't sure if there was some sort
of way the BrailleNote mPower could get sound effects from it. I
don't know what kind of sound form it is in, but if anyone has
any ideas, please send me back.

Also, does anyone know how to download songs onto the
BrailleNote? I have a USB drive, and am pretty sure you can put
music on there, but how do you do it?

Thanks
