Hi Marissa,
There is indeed a podcast which describes the update procedures. Go to www.blind-geek-zone.net/audio and search for BrailleNote Podcast. One of the files should be about updating KeySoft. You'll need an SD card (between 64 and 512 MB) and a special file called nk.bin. This is the ROM image for KeySoft 7.5.29. When you insert the SD card that has the bin file, press Reset with dots 4-5 (JK on QT) and release the keys after about two seconds. You should hear rising tones followed by clicks. When the process is done, BrailleNote should announce the new KeySoft version.
Cheers,
Joseph

Subject: [Braillenote] updating Keysoft

Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone knew if it would bea good idea to
update Keysoft. I have Version 7.5 Build 28 on my system. I
don't even know how to go about updating it. But when I called
Humanware for the networking problem I had, they told me it might
be a good idea to update it. Thank you again for all your
assistance, and your help with my Gmail account and networking
issues. Have a great day!

Musically,
Marissa
