Hello, I am experiencing a problem with the find command within the Bible as it locks up after I tell it to search forward. It locks up and the only way to fix that problem is a reset. That's irritating in the middle of a Bible study for a perfectionest like me. I have a theory that the lock up is because the Bible is such a big file. Is this the problem or something else? If a file is too big and probably going to freeze up the BrailleNote, then I'd rather get a warning message beforehand asking me if I want to continue. Otherwise it can be very disconcerting. Can anyone help with this? I need something to work. this big Bible would be great if I were to read it from beginning to end, but I'm a Bible study leader and have to have a working Bible or no Bible at all on the BN. Anything else in the midst of a Bible study is disruptive to me especially, and I imagine the others as well. Any help or suggestions in this matter would be wonderful. If it turns out that the find command won't work with such a big file, then is there a way to get the thing broken down into individual books? If I start the process of breaking down the Bible into individual books, would just working with such a big file and doing any block commands also lock the BN up and cause me to have to reset? I just ned something that works efficiently for Bible studies. How do I know that I've gotten a file that's doo big for the BN to handle? For the Bible studies, would I be better offf just grabbing the passage off the internet and pasting it into my notes/questions, or is there an even more effective way?
