Well, as I had posted earlier, I had a similar problem last week when I was visiting my mother in Kentucky and using a dial-up account to access my email. And, although it did appear to be fixed as I had stated at the time, once I downloaded some more email, the BN started doing once again with my mPower running KS 7.5 build 29 the same as your unit.

So, this time, I, as I really wanted to read all my email, moved theemail folders.cdb file from the keylist folder, as well as the email folders file from the keymail folder. And, just for safe keeping, I might suggest you moving them to a CF or sd card. Anyway, after I moved those files away, I tried to access the email, and of course was told the database did not exist and asked if I wanted to create it, to which I said no. I then copied those two files I had just moved back to their respective keylist and keymail folders and accessed my email once again and all my messages were still there and things have worked normally ever since. If you do try this, though, note that the email folders.cdb is a hidden file, so you will need to look for all files in the keylist folder to have it shown to you so you can move it.

Subject: [Braillenote] e-mail problem

I saw one other person who received the message access denied
when they went
to read email.

If this was discussed yesterday, then the message is in the
folder access
denied in-box.

Here is what happened. I downloaded and read all the messages
from my
Comcast account. Also deleted most after reading. I then
downloaded 250
messages from the EarthLink account. I read a couple of messages
then turned
off the M-power. Today when I turned it on I was in the e-mail
in-box list.
I opened the first item and read it. I then pressed 26 and the
space bar and
the letter d to delete the message. It took a bit of time, and I
received
the message that the operation completed successfully. All it
would show at
this time was no subject and the next message didn't come up. I
exited and
went to the main menu. I then entered the e-mail program again
and found
that the message was still there. I deleted it from the menu. I
kept getting
the message This operation completed successfully after a few
more e-mail. I
then exited and reset the unit. I also emptied the trash folder.
After this
happened for the third time, I decided to free data base space,
and received
the message "access is denied. I cannot read or write e-mail on
the unit.
Any help would be appreciated. I'm using a M-power 7.5 build 29
