Ottawa Canada Dear Alex and list:
The BrailleNote doesn't use a file transfer protocol like x-modem, y-modem, y-modem-g or z-modem. To transfer files from the BN to the Scholar, you would want to tell the Scholar to use its terminal mode, as it probably has one and open a log file to do an ASCII capture. Then tell the BrailleNote to say print or emboss the file to its serial port. When the file is transferred, close the log file on the Scholar and repeat the process with a different filename for the log file for the next file and repeat the file transfer by printing or embossing to the BN serial port. Its too bad the BN doesn't use a file transfer protocol but it doesn't. Brian Brian K.
