shane, Two things I would suggest checking are: 1. that the AC Adapter is plugged in. 2. That the SD card being used is between 64-512MB in capacity.
If you have met the two above, it then sounds like you are doing everything correctly and I would then recommend ringing HumanWare Tech Support Monday.
