Tina,
You can only upgrade from an sd card of 512 mb or less with the MPower.
This is a windows CE limitation.
I haven't experienced the problem with the unit not powering on except a
few times when the battery was low. I did a service reset, holding down
the record button while hitting reset, and that cured the problem for
me.
If it continues, you may wish to call Humanware technical support.

Subject: [Braillenote] has anyone had this happen
This is very intermitent, but I have it happen a couple times where
when I turn on the bn, it doesn'yt do anything no braille, nothing and
my unit is new has a charger at work so is plugged in mor than it is
not. Areset usually takes care of it, but it happened today when I was
out and just thought I'd ask. I AM going to get an sd card from amazon
for upgrading, although, can I just download the keysoft build 29
right on to my bn or is it best to have a card? I AM thiking of
getting the unit upgraded then getting the ambicom wl54 for goig
wireless. Not really worried about my bn since the reset so far helps
it, but just wondered what others have noticed. My gps should be there
tuesday and I am very, every excited to play with it so the bn had
best not go anywhere soon!
