Try going into options > braille display options and look for "show new lines as". Set this to whatever you want, I have mine set to indent one cell so that new lines start one cell from the right on the display instead of showing up as new line characters. This should also take care of the other indicators, but if not try pressing the two outer-most thumb keys together until you hear "automatic". If that does not work, try the "reading" mode (accessed with that thumb key combo a few more times). HTH!

Have a great day,
Alex

Subject: [Braillenote] ??? remove formatting from etext and
web-brailledownloads?

I have a Classic BN-QT. How do I remove the formatting code from
downloaded
e-texts and from brf files downloaded from web-Braille. I am
tired of
reading all the "new line" and "new paragraph," etc. format
code. I want to
be able to read the Braille display as I do embossed books.

There should be a way to do this, but I can't figure out how from
the
manual.

TIA.
