Hi all,
After trying many things, I determined the problem was my wireless card that I
had purchased last December from Humanware. I was not consistent with pulling
out this card when I was not using the unit and these cards are not made to
endure the heat that develops when they are left in the slot.
The good news is I was able to find the
US Robotics Wireless MAXg USB Adapter USR5421 locally. If anyone is in need
of such an adapter, try searching for it on frys.com.
Unfortunately, it is currently out of stock on their web site, but I think if
you called any of their stores they would send it to you. I found mine at the
store in Phoenix, AZ. The cost was $39, which I thought was great!
Hope someone will learn from my mistake and remove that card when you are not
using it!
Thanks to all for their suggestions.
Marsha

Hi:
I have had the same problem twice and both times the problem was
a WIFI card about to die. The only answer that worked for me
was to purchase a new card.
I am currently using the USB WIFI card it I do like it. It fits
into one of the USB ports and the end has a swivel so that you
can aim it your signal source. I like it because I don't need
to pull out CF cards all the time.
Sorry for the bad news and hope that you can find a new card
easily.

>Hi all, My M power keeps telling me there is no visible network
at my house. I know there is because my laptop connects every
time. Nothing has changed as far as settings on my unit or
router. Occasionally my unit will connect for a minute or two
and then gives the message "not connected." I know my card slots
are working fine because my compact flash card works fine.
>I called tech support yesterday and, although they were pleasant
and willing to try different things, they were not able to
resolve the issue.
>Any ideas/help would be greatly appreciated!
