Hi, I've had no problems using the KeyNote Gold synthesizer on my
BrailleNote mPower running KeySoft 7.5 Build 20. It's a BT model.

Subject: [Braillenote] I have my new PK and now problems with my
MPowerplease help.
Hi, I picked up my new PK from a Humanware member who was in town for a
display on Friday. So far so good but most people would know my track
record with PK's so I don't want to speak too soon.
Now for my main reason for this message. I love using the keynote speech
on my MPower but over the last few days it has gone funny. By this I mean
it is all static sounding. I showed it to the humanware person and they
said that it happens to their machine every so often so I didn't think
much of it but that night it got worst. I am currently using eloquence but
it can't keep up with my typing speed so it is driving me up the wall but
it sounds fine. So I figure it isn't something to do with the speaker it
is something to do with the keysoft voice.
So has anyone else had a similar problem and more important can anyone
suggest a fix? If not I will have to use the PK most of the time but I
like when I need to type something quickly to use the QT keyboard so this
is why I use the MPower.
Hope to get some helpful suggestions soon or this eloquence voice will
drive be totally mad, and I am already half way there so not to far to
drive now.
From Shaz.
BN QT MPower and PK user.
