Nancy,

The BrailleNote PK is extremely reliable and I love it. Actually, the only
limitaitons are:
No USB Host Port, means it isn't possible to connect to USB Printers, Thumb
drives, Hard Drives and USB devices.
No PCMCIA slot (side-slot on mPower).
No SD card slot
No FM Radio
Cannot Print
Cannot run Nemeth Tutorial
Cannot Straem Audio
The processing/Ram power is a bit limited when comparing it to the mPower

But, it does have the games and the Database.

It is a great and small device though.

Kevin

Subject: [Braillenote] My Pk Soon

Hi. My name is Nancy Ungar, and I re-subscribed a couple days ago. By the
way, Rhonda S., were you Rhonda Clark before, or is this a different Rhonda?
Lol. Anyhow, I bought a demo Pk from Humanware at the Acb convention in
Louisville Ky. I saved $2000, and I liked the idea of the portability of
the device. It will give me an additional back up unit, besides my Braille
Lite millennium 20. I know I should get the new display for my m-power, but
I wanted to have another unit first when my m-power is gone. I want to keep
my Braille Note at home and carry around a much smaller unit. I'm still
excited, but is the Pk pretty reliable online? Is it true that it right now
has everything but a lot of memory, games, fm radio, the database and
streaming?
Thanks for any information one can give me. I suppose I could go on the
humanware website, but it would be nice to hear from a couple Pk users.
Thanks in advance. Nancy Ung
