I'm in Indiana and using DSL and am having the same problems as
others when accessing the default Google site on my BT32 mPower
running KS 7.5 build 29. The classic site does work for me, too,
though, and thanks to Peggy for thinking to try it.
Now, on my mobile phone running Windows Mobile 6 Standard edition
for Smartphones, I can access the Google site without a problem
by default. And, in double checking again just now, it is the
mobile site that is brought up. I get a security dialog first
after telling it to search, but then I do get my search results
without a problem.
Also, using the Voice Sense, if I change the user agent from the
default of Windows CE to Windows XP, then the classic site is
brought up by default and works just fine. But, as was stated
earlier, just using the default setting on the VS doesn't work,
either, when it brings up the mobile site. Nor, for that matter,
does the site work when the user agent is changed to Pocket Pc on
the VS.
