Subject: [Braillenote] My experience with Google

Hi, all. I haven't been following the Google thread super closely, just close enough to know that some are having problems doing a search on it. So I decided to see what would happen when I used Google. The page came up just fine, but when I typed in a search and hit go, I got the 404. After that, other pages seemed to not want to come up, but they finally did. Then I went back to Google. I noticed there were links that allowed me to choose whether to use Google in mobile or classic mode, or something like that, so I selected classic. When the page came up, I typed in my search term, hit go, and up came the results.

Now, if I could just get Gmail to display right on the web like it used to. I used to be able to go to

http://www.gmail.com

and have the option to choose basic html, then to choose which folder I wanted to look at. But now the BrailleNote just puts me in the inbox, and I can't get to other folders on the BrailleNote. I guess Google must have been tweaking their stuff to make life more --- um --- interesting for us. <grin>
