It has come to our attention that Google has made some recent changes to
their platform detection, which has caused some issues for a number of
BrailleNote users.

Google is detecting the BrailleNote as a mobile web-enabled device, and
is loading a page that is not completely compatible with the KeyWeb
browser. This was an unexpected change made byGoogle, and in addition
to the BrailleNote, a number of other assistive and mainstream mobile
devices are effected.

The solution is for BrailleNote users to load the default google.com
search page, and then prior to performing a search to click the link
near the bottom of the page to use the classic version of the google
site rather than the mobile version. Search results will then be
presented as normal without any errors.

A number of BrailleNote users also prefer using an alternative search
interface offered by google which presents the search results in a more
streamlined list format. This alternative search can be saved as a
favorite for faster future access.
