Try this:
1. Copy the definition file to another folder, it does not matter where. Make sure that only the definition file is copied, not the cdb file. 2. Rename that definition file to the name of the database you want, in this case "electronic books". 3. Move the newly named file back to the "keybase" folder and open it like any other database. When you are asked if you want to create a database called "electronic books", say "yes". 4. Now press r, then a. Select your "my books" database. Now when you open "electronic books", the "my books" database will load, acting kind of like a shortcut.

I know this is not quite what you had in mind, but you cannot tie multiple definition files to a single cdb file because the cdb requires exact data entry in a specific order, which it gets from its definition, to add information. If I misunderstood what you are trying to do, let me know.

Have a great day,
Alex

Subject: [Braillenote] Creating Second Database

Hi All,
I'm sure I've done this before but can't remember how! Hoping
someone can
enlighten me.
I have a database definition file called "my books". I have an
associated
database file called "my books". What I'd like to do now is have
a second
database file called "electronic books" using the same definition
file as
the "my books" database.
Can someone please tell me how to do this?
Thanks is appreciated in advance.
Kate
